Le 10K'arnag

Carnac, nestled along the rugged coast of Brittany, is set to host its annual 10K'Arnag festival on October 10, 2026. This vibrant celebration combines athletic prowess with community spirit and philanthropy.
The race course winds through Carnac's picturesque landscapes, leading participants from the town center past iconic menhirs—prehistoric standing stones—and out to its beautiful beaches. For those who enjoy a more leisurely pace, there is also a 5 km walking route along the same scenic path.
Children are not left out; a dedicated 1-km race offers them an exciting introduction to running in such a historic and charming setting. The course design caters to both beginners and seasoned runners alike, ensuring everyone can enjoy this unique event.
In keeping with the festival's spirit of giving back, 10K'Arnag supports Octobre Rose, a global campaign aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer screening. All proceeds will benefit the Ligue Contre le Cancer du Morbihan, highlighting the race’s commitment to both physical and social well-being.
The event is a collaborative effort by seven passionate Vannes students who share a deep love for their region. Local residents can participate as volunteers or simply join in with their running shoes on. The collective enthusiasm of these contributors aims to create an inclusive and community-focused experience that will resonate beyond the day itself, celebrating Carnac's rich heritage.
On race day, participants will enjoy a full schedule starting from October 9th for packet pick-up. Races begin at 16:00 with children’s events followed by the 5 km walk and then the main 10K run. Expect to arrive back in town around 18:30-19:00, just in time for post-race festivities.
