Lake to Bay Relay & Ultramarathon

About the Event

Lake to Bay Relay & Ultramarathon invites runners from around the globe to experience an unforgettable journey through Vancouver and Camas, Washington on June 19, 2027. This unique single-day relay or ultramarathon spans a challenging distance of 62.2 miles (100k), making it perfect for teams ranging in size from one to seven individuals.
The race kicks off at 4:30 AM sharp with waves of up to ten teams setting out every twenty minutes, all beginning their adventure from Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park. The course weaves through the heart of downtown Vancouver and loops around both Vancouver and Camas before finishing along the scenic Old Evergreen Highway into the vibrant new Vancouver Waterfront.
Participants will traverse a diverse landscape that includes city parks, sidewalks, park trails, crosswalks, bike lanes, and narrow roadways. This event is not confined to closed streets; runners must adhere strictly to pedestrian laws throughout their journey. The 15-segment course features 14 checkpoints where relay teams can exchange members.
Registration offers more than just race entry—it includes a car pass for two regional parks (Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park and Salmon Creek Regional Park), parking at Terminal-1 Garage downtown, an event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a post-race meal hosted by Twigs Bistro & Restaurant. Packet pickup will be available on Saturday, June 12 from 7 AM to noon at Foot Traffic (Vancouver) in conjunction with Morning Miles.
Teams can also participate in an optional ZOOM call the week before race day: runners at 7 PM and volunteers at 7:30 PM on Thursday, June 17. For detailed course information and assigned chalking locations for teams, participants are encouraged to visit the event website.
Lake to Bay Relay & Ultramarathon promises a blend of urban exploration and natural beauty, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
