About the Event

The Vert’Olonne Trail Race returns on October 25, 2026, offering runners and canicross enthusiasts an exciting course through the scenic landscapes of Les Sables d'Olonne. The race starts and finishes at Paul Bobet Park, located at 31 Rue des Granges (85340), with parking available at two recommended locations: Parking de la Plage des Granges, one kilometer from the park entrance, and a second lot on Rue des Gabelous in the village of La Gachère.
Competitors can choose between three trail distances—20 kilometers, 11.5 kilometers, and 6.7 kilometers—and a dedicated Canicross event for runners accompanied by their dogs. All courses feature electronic timing chips to ensure accurate results, with awards given to the top three male and female finishers in each category.
The race atmosphere is enhanced by on-site medical support provided by AMPS85 (Association Mobile de Premiers Secours), ensuring safety during this exhilarating event. Participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with parking regulations ahead of time as street parking along Rue des Granges will be restricted to maintain access for local residents and emergency vehicles.
This race is not only a challenge but also an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty surrounding Les Sables d'Olonne, making it a must-attend event for trail runners and canicross teams alike.
