Hurricane Challenge

On October 17, 2026, the Espace Encan will host the Hurricane Challenge—a hybrid fitness race embedded within the historic maritime setting of La Rochelle. Spanning both functional and running disciplines, this unique event features seven distinct workout stations: Skierg for dynamic leg workouts, Rowing to build upper body strength, Sled Push/Pull for engaging core exercises, Burpees for explosive movements, Sailor's Carry inspired by nautical traditions, Sandbag Lunges for powerful lower body conditioning, and Wall Balls for high-intensity cardio. These functional training stations are interspersed with one-kilometer segments of running through the picturesque streets of La Rochelle.
Whether you're a fitness novice or an experienced athlete, the Hurricane Challenge offers categories to suit all levels—individually or as pairs. The event is set to attract 550 participants eager for an extraordinary experience. Registration opens on June 17 at 7:00 PM, allowing enthusiasts ample time to prepare and join this immersive fitness adventure in La Rochelle’s rich maritime heritage.
