Join us for the second edition of La Mahalonnaise, set to take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Bourg de Mahalon. Building upon last year's success with its lively atmosphere and friendly spirit, this year’s event promises an even more festive and athletic experience. Whether you're a seasoned runner or simply enjoy scenic walks, La Mahalonnaise offers something for everyone. Explore the picturesque landscapes of Mahalon through three distinct courses tailored to different skill levels: - The Grand Examen: A challenging 21-kilometer route starting at 9:00 AM. - La Classe Nature: An intermediate 14-kilometer course kicking off at 9:30 AM. - Récré Découverte: Ideal for beginners, this shorter 8-kilometer path starts at 10:00 AM. For a more leisurely day out, two walking circuits are also available: - A scenic 7-kilometer walk - An extended 14-kilometer trek Both routes allow participants to set off anytime between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. The entry fees for the races start at just €8 per adult, while children have their own special courses with a one-euro registration fee that supports the Pédia et Compagnie association. In addition to competitive racing, La Mahalonnaise features an on-site food area offering local delicacies such as saucisse and merguez with fries, galette saucisses, and sweet crepes. All proceeds from race registrations include a €1 donation per entry to Pédia & Compagnie, which works tirelessly for hospitalized children and their families.
