La Course des Poilus - Les 24h de Bitry

The Race of the Poils Verts is an endurance challenge that unfolds over 24 hours, with participants completing 5 km loops every hour on both road and trail. The course begins at noon on May 15, 2027, directly in front of the Town Hall, offering a blend of scenic routes through Bitry's picturesque countryside.
Competitors can choose to race solo or as part of relay teams, with each team member taking turns at the start of every loop. To be officially recognized as a finisher, all participants must complete 24 loops within the given timeframe; those who fall short will still receive a ranking based on their performance and number of completed laps.
The event features continuous support from organizers in terms of hydration stations and snacks near the starting/finishing area, yet racers are responsible for managing their own nutrition throughout. Personal assistance is allowed only within designated zones to ensure fair play while maintaining safety standards.
With its unique blend of solo effort and team collaboration, this race promises an immersive experience amidst Bitry's charming landscapes, blending competition with community spirit. For more information or inquiries, contact the organizers at 06.23.99.30.84 or email [email protected].
