La 15 eme Ronde de Rotomagos

This year, the Tamalous team invites runners to experience "La Ronde à l'envers" – an innovative twist on their traditional race. Instead of following the usual route direction, participants will run or walk against it, offering a fresh perspective and avoiding congestion at the start line.
The event features four courses: 5 km, 10.6 km, 23.4 km for runners, and a 10 km walking option, all set along forest trails within the Val de l'Indre region. Each course offers scenic views of rolling hills and dense woodland, providing an immersive experience in nature.
The race starts and finishes at the Christian Meunier circuit in Pont de Ruan. The earlier start times are designed to accommodate different distances: 8:45 AM for the longest run (23.4 km), followed by a shorter but still challenging course starting at 9:00 AM (10.6 km). A family-friendly option begins at 9:15 AM, with a more leisurely pace on the 5 km route. The walking event starts between 9:30 and 10:00 AM.
Registration closes online via Ikinoa on Friday, October 16th, at 9 PM for runners but remains open until Saturday from 3 to 5:30 PM or Sunday morning up until the start of the walk. Packet pickup is available both days during these times and requires a minimum of 30 minutes before your race's scheduled departure.
Participants must comply with licensing requirements as per French sports regulations, including either an Athlé Compétition license from FFA or a valid PPS (Pass de Prévention Santé) issued within the last year. For minors not licensed through FFA, parental consent and medical clearance are required prior to registration. These documents can be obtained online at https://pps.athle.fr.
It's important for runners to note that dogs must remain on leashes throughout all race courses but are allowed during the walk with proper control. This ensures a safe environment for both participants and spectators, enhancing everyone’s enjoyment of this unique event.
