Kettlewell 10k Trail Race

The Kettlewell 10k Trail Race is an exhilarating addition to the Due North Trail Race Series, offering runners a challenging yet scenic journey through Yorkshire's stunning countryside. Set for Saturday, September 5th, 2026, this race promises breathtaking views and varied terrain that will test even the most seasoned trail runner.
Starting at Hawkswick Cote car park field just off the B6160 between Grassington and Kettlewell, participants begin their journey by tackling a steep climb out of Arncliffe to reach the summit of Arncliffe Moor. This initial ascent is followed by 3 kilometers along the moor's gentle downhill slopes, providing runners with stunning panoramic views over Starbotton and Kettlewell.
As you descend from the moor, the trail guides you through picturesque landscapes before leading back down towards Kilnsey Crag for a thrilling finish line view. The race venue offers convenient parking directly at Hawkswick Cote car park field, where registration opens at 08:00 am with runners needing to complete sign-in by 9:45 am.
Spectators are invited to enjoy the day in this beautiful riverside setting, offering both catering on-site and opportunities for picnicking. The race start is scheduled for 10:30 am from the same field where registration takes place.
Post-race amenities include toilets located conveniently within the car park area. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories, including Open and Non-Binary divisions as well as first-place awards for runners aged 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+. Winners can expect their prizes via email after race day.
