Kalkmineløbet 2027

Welcome to the unique and exhilarating Kalkmineløbet, Denmark's most distinctive running experience set for May 29, 2027. This exceptional race takes runners through stunning natural landscapes, including two historic chalk mines near Mønsted and Daugbjerg just outside Viborg.
The event is designed to be an immersive journey rather than a timed competition. Participants will enjoy scenic routes with stops at charming checkpoints offering refreshments such as cake, energy drinks, fruits, snacks, and even adult beverages for those over 21. Shuttle buses run between the two start/finish areas in Mønsted and Daugbjerg to ease travel logistics.
The race features various distances including a half marathon, full marathon, and shorter options like Dracula's 10-hour endurance challenge. All runners receive free t-shirts when registering before January 1, 2027; afterward, the cost is just 129 kr for adult sizes or 119 kr for children.
Kalkmineløbet promises an unforgettable blend of adventure and camaraderie in a setting that celebrates both nature and Danish culture. Don't miss this opportunity to experience one of Denmark's most unique running events!
