Jan Louter Loop
About the event
On October 9, 2027, the Broekpolder area of Vlaardingen will host the third annual 'Janlouterloop,' organized by AV Fortuna. This race aims to raise funds for "Support Casper," a part of the Foundation Surviving with Adenocarcinoma of the Stomach Cancer. The foundation supports those battling this deadly form of cancer, which claims around 8 to 10 lives daily in the Netherlands.
The event honors Jan Louter, a beloved trainer who led several running groups within AV Fortuna before his passing due to stomach cancer. Participants can register online until October 9, and late registrations are also accepted on race day itself. The loop through Vlaardingen's scenic Broekpolder offers runners an engaging course that highlights the community’s commitment to raising awareness and funds for this critical cause.
