About the Event

Immerse yourself in the vibrant nighttime atmosphere of Istanbul with the debut of the Bosphorus Night Marathon Festival. Held on July 03, 2027, this unique event offers runners an unforgettable evening experience along one of Istanbul's most scenic coastal routes.
The race starts and finishes at Tarabya Beach, inviting participants to enjoy a breathtaking journey through some of Istanbul’s most notable waterfront districts. The route winds its way past the charming neighborhoods of Kireçburnu, Tarabya, and Sarıyer, offering stunning views under the moonlight as it hugs the Bosphorus shoreline.
The festival features three main race formats designed for all levels of runners:
- A 42km marathon relay event for teams of four.
- A 21km half marathon relay for pairs aiming to work together on this shorter yet challenging route.
- A fun-filled individual 10K run, perfect for those looking for a less competitive but equally rewarding experience.
All participants will benefit from well-equipped refreshment points and timing chips along the course. Upon crossing the finish line within the designated time limits, runners can look forward to receiving their custom-designed finisher medals as well as enjoying a celebratory buffet at the event’s main venue.
With categories for both women and men, plus mixed teams across various age groups, this festival is inclusive of all backgrounds and running abilities. Join fellow enthusiasts in celebrating Istanbul's iconic shoreline under the stars on July 03, 2027.
