About the event
The X Iron Lung Ride takes runners through the scenic Ogden Valley, Utah, with distances of 35 miles, 80 miles, or 100 miles. Starting from Huntsville, participants face a steep climb up Old Snowbasin Road before descending down Trappers Loop and continuing through Morgan to reach Big Mountain's summit. The course features challenging climbs punctuated by rolling hills and flat sections for recovery. This event is part of the Utah Triple Crank series alongside LOTOJA and Hunstman Sportiest, offering a grueling yet rewarding experience for endurance athletes. Note that registrations after July 5th will result in T-shirts and medals being mailed to participants instead of awarded on-site.
Runners can expect an immersive journey through stunning landscapes, with each mile revealing new vistas and terrain challenges that test both mental and physical limits. The Iron Lung Ride is not just a race but a celebration of the valley's natural beauty and athletic spirit.
