Iron Heart Ultra Race Date: Saturday, February 13, 2027 Location: Maramec Spring Park, Massey Hill Shelter Address: 21880 Maramec Spring Drive, St. James, MO 65559 Celebrate Valentine's Day with Heart: The Iron Heart Spend Valentine's Day weekend pushing your limits at one of Missouri's most scenic trail venues. The Iron Heart Ultra Race delivers endurance, challenge, and camaraderie in the heart of the Ozarks. Whether you're tackling your first trail race or chasing your next ultra buckle, there's a distance for you. Race Distances 100 Mile - 100K - 50 Mile - 50K - 25K - 10K - 5K Course Information Participants will experience two beautiful trails within Maramec Spring Park. Leatherbritches Trail Approximately 1.5 miles of scenic forest single track featuring views of the historic Maramec Iron Works mine pit. BallHooter Trail Approximately 3.4 miles of moderately challenging terrain with approximately 246 feet of elevation gain per loop. Aid Stations One water station will be located on the course. A fully stocked aid station will be available throughout the event. Pacer Policy 100 Mile participants may have a pacer after Mile 50. 100K participants may have a pacer beginning at Mile 52 during the final lap. All pacers must check in with race officials, wear an official pacer bib, and remain with their assigned runner. Pacers are not permitted in any other race distance. Awards Overall Male and Overall Female awards will be presented in every race distance. Custom Iron Heart belt buckles will be awarded to all finishers of the 100 Mile, 100K, 50 Mile, and 50K events. Additional Information Overnight parking lot camping is welcome. No electrical or water hookups are available. Spectators and well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome. If you decide to withdraw from the race, please notify race officials immediately for your safety.
