The race begins at 6 PM, transforming the vibrant Pétrusse Valley into a luminous spectacle adorned with multicolored lanterns and live music by over 500 musicians. Participants will wind through the heart of Luxembourg City, passing exceptional monuments that nestle against the rocks in this verdant gorge.
The marathon route offers diverse distances to cater to all levels of runners: from the full 42 km marathon to a half-marathon, relay options for teams, and fun races like the "5k Run For Success" and children's mini marathons. The event also features a unique "Roll&Run," a 7.3 km race designed specifically for fans of wheel sports through Limpertsberg.
The atmosphere is electric with entertainment for all ages, including DJs along the route and an expansive festival tent at Glacis where participants can enjoy post-race festivities. For those who wish to explore beyond the race course, Luxembourg City offers a wealth of attractions like the Bock Casemates—tunnels carved into rock offering panoramic views—and historical sites such as The Grand Ducal Palace.
Whether you're running or cheering from the sidelines, this night marathon promises an unforgettable experience in one of Europe's most charming capitals.
