On November 26, 2026, runners of all ages will gather at H2O Church on County Road 1560 in Ada, Oklahoma for the 13th Annual Hunger Run. This community-driven race aims to raise funds and awareness for a crucial cause: providing meals to local children during their Christmas break.
The event kicks off early with registration starting at 7 am, followed by the 5K run beginning promptly at 8 am. Participants are encouraged to sign up online before November 24th at 10 pm to secure their spot in this meaningful race. The course winds through scenic Ada and offers a flat terrain that is ideal for runners looking to set personal records or simply enjoy an early morning jog.
Age group awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers across several categories: 13 years old and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and those aged 60 and above. This inclusive approach ensures that everyone has a chance to shine on race day.
The Hunger Run is organized by In or Out Faith Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of local students. Their goal for this year's event is ambitious: to provide 1000 food boxes to ensure children have access to nutritious meals during their holiday break from school.
