About the Event

The Columbus Hot Chocolate & Eggnog 1 Mile, 5k, 10k, and Free Kid's Dash is a great way to wrap up the year with a fun and unique holiday race that is perfect for everyone in the family! Wear the ugliest sweater, shirt or jacket that you can find! Join in the fun of racing around one of central Ohio's newest parks at Bank Run Metro Park and then enjoy some snacks and drink delicious eggnog and decadent hot chocolate!

All 1 Mile, 5k, and 10k participants will receive delicious hot chocolate, yummy eggnog, finish line race video, race photos, choice of either a race mug, a holiday hat with the option to upgrade to a long sleeve ring spun shirt, a custom finisher medal, a custom race bib, a chip timed race, instant results, snacks, fruit, refreshments, scenic race course, photo opp in front of a pair of 10ft and 15ft inflatable reindeer as well as a 20ft snowman (weather dependent), FREE parking and more!

Westerville is a city in Franklin and Delaware counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. A northeastern suburb of Columbus, its population was 39,190 at the 2020 census. The city is home to Otterbein University. It was once known as the "Dry Capital of the World" for its strict laws prohibiting sales of alcohol and for being the home of the Anti-Saloon League, one of the driving forces behind the Prohibition era at the beginning of the 20th century.
