Hoofstones Fell Race

The Hoofstones Fell Race, an exhilarating BM Fell Race, takes place on January 30, 2027, offering runners a challenging course through the rugged terrain of the Pennines. Spanning 12.9 kilometers with approximately 610 meters of elevation gain, this race is not for the faint-hearted.
Competitors gather at The Staff of Life Pub on Burnley Road in Todmorden by 11 am to prepare for the start. Essential kit includes a waterproof jacket and trousers, hat, gloves, compass, whistle, map, and emergency food, as mandated by Fell Running Association (FRA) regulations. Participants must be aged 18 or older.
The race route winds through steep fells and rugged moorland, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape while testing runners' endurance and navigation skills. Team prizes are awarded to both men's and women's teams with three scores counting towards their final tally.
After crossing the finish line back at The Staff of Life Pub, racers can enjoy refreshments and celebrate alongside fellow competitors before prize giving ceremonies commence in the cozy pub setting.
