About the Event

Join us on January 31, 2027, for the Hoessenboschcross in Berghem as part of A.V. Oss '78's cross competition series. This exciting race offers distances suitable for all ages and skill levels.
For young runners aged up to U-20, there are three distance options: a short 600-meter dash, an intermediate 1200-meter run, or the longest option at 1800 meters. Seniors can choose between a shorter cross-country race of approximately 5 kilometers and a more challenging longer course stretching around 10 kilometers.
The event starts with the youth races kicking off at 11:10 AM, followed by the senior categories starting promptly at 10:00 AM for both distances. The entry fees are €3 for participants in the junior categories and €7 for those competing in either of the longer courses. On-the-day registrations will incur an additional charge of €1.
Competitors who sign up before January 31, 2027, can participate individually or as part of a series to earn points towards overall rankings if they compete in at least four cross-country events within their respective categories during the season.
The Hoessenboschcross takes place on unsealed terrain near Oss and offers runners an opportunity to experience challenging trails through natural landscapes. It's not just about racing; it’s also about enjoying a day out with fellow athletes, family members, and friends in beautiful surroundings.
Make sure to visit A.V. Oss '78's website for the latest updates leading up to race day as well as important information regarding participation rules and guidelines for young competitors from Atletiek Unie.
We look forward to seeing you at the start line of this invigorating event!
