Highwood is nestled at the corner of Sheridan Road and Clay Avenue, where history meets modernity. It starts at the corner of Sheridan Road & Clay Avenue, winds its way past several landmarks such as the Highwood Community Center before looping back for an exhilarating finish right where it all began. Runners can expect a flat terrain on hard and dry surfaces that are perfect for a fast-paced five-kilometer journey.
At the start line, prepare to be greeted by a sea of fellow participants eager to take part in this family-friendly event. The race will have marked distance markers every kilometer, ensuring you stay on track and make it through to the finish without any confusion. There are no aid stations along the route due to its straightforward nature; however, water stops will be strategically placed just outside the course.
