Experience the joy and excitement of hockey during HC Phoenix's Kicks N Sticks Hockeykamp, designed to help young players develop their skills while having fun. This camp offers a unique blend of training, learning new techniques, making friends, and enjoying the sport.
Campers will arrive between 08:30 and 09:00 AM for an energetic day filled with hockey activities that cater to various skill levels. The program starts promptly at 09:00 AM and concludes officially at 15:30 PM, giving parents a window from 15:30 to 16:30 PM to pick up their children.
Participants can choose between two distinct programs tailored for different goals:
- High Performance: Ideal for players aged U14 and above who are looking to push themselves further. This program focuses on training, learning new skills, and improving existing ones under the guidance of experienced coaches.
- Regular Program: Suitable for younger children up to age 13 focusing heavily on enjoyment while still incorporating skill development through a variety of activities.
Each day is packed with diverse hockey sessions that include technical drills, tactical exercises, and competitive games. The camp ensures every participant receives personalized attention based on their individual progress throughout the week.
Campers are encouraged to bring all necessary equipment such as a hockey stick, shin guards, mouthguard, water bottle, comfortable clothing including an extra shirt for post-lunch comfort if needed. Kicks N Sticks provides lunch, fruit, and snacks during camp hours to keep energy levels high.
Every participant receives a special Kicks N Sticks camp t-shirt upon registration, fostering unity among the group of young athletes. This event not only enhances hockey skills but also boosts self-confidence, teamwork spirit, and overall enjoyment in sports for everyone involved.
