Heat Wave 3/6/12/24/36

Heat Wave 3/6/12/24/36 is set to take place at Rose Hill District Stadium, located on the bustling streets of Rose Hill, Kansas from June 11-13, 2027. This event offers a range of ultrarunning options including new additions for this year: 3 and 36-hour events alongside traditional 6, 12, and 24-hour races.
Participants will race on the USATF-certified 400-meter track under live chip timing services that provide real-time updates via a large screen at the start/finish line. The course changes direction every three hours to ensure variety for racers during their long-distance endeavors. For those racing overnight, the moonlight-lit stadium offers an enchanting backdrop.
The aid station is conveniently located near the track’s north side, providing ice-cold water and a selection of nutritious snacks like fruits, chips, cookies, ramen, and mashed potatoes. Racers are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups due to the cup-less race policy.
Track etiquette rules ensure smooth racing conditions for all participants, emphasizing respect and safety on this busy course. The event also features Stanley Cup Challenges at various times during the weekend, giving racers a chance to compete in short-distance sprints for additional excitement.
With a focus on camaraderie and competitive spirit, Heat Wave promises an unforgettable ultrarunning experience amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Rose Hill Stadium.
