Heart and Soul Fest 2027

Heart & Soul Fest 2027 promises an unforgettable weekend of fitness, music, wellness, and community at Druridge Bay Country Park in Northumberland. Scheduled for July 30 to August 1, 2027, this event aims to be the biggest fitness festival in Europe.
The centerpiece of Heart & Soul Fest is Heart Break Lake, a team-based endurance challenge that returns with four editions across Saturday and Sunday. Teams can run together or split into smaller groups, enjoying the freedom to complete laps at their own pace over 24 hours. The event fosters camaraderie and support among participants as they camp beside the Northumberland coast, creating an incredible community atmosphere throughout the weekend.
Solo runners also have a dedicated endurance challenge option within Heart Break Lake for those seeking a more individual experience. Whether running solo or with a team, all participants are immersed in the festival's vibrant energy from start to finish.
In addition to Heart Break Lake, the event features HSR Hybrid—a fast-paced combination of running and functional fitness movements—offering both solo and paired categories. The outdoor arena is set to be one of the most exciting spots at the festival, with more details on divisions and workouts coming soon.
For younger participants, the Mini Deep North Run returns as a fun, family-friendly event designed to inspire future generations within the Heart & Soul community. This run offers an introduction to the excitement and atmosphere that define this unique weekend experience.
Friday is dedicated to setting up camp and enjoying pre-race activities such as live music, licensed bars, street food vendors, wellness sessions, and festival entertainment. The Friday night pre-party features top headline acts, live bands, DJs, and plenty of opportunities for team celebrations and run club meet-ups, ensuring an energetic start to the weekend.
The expanded wellness space at Heart & Soul Fest includes a packed programme of yoga, Pilates, guided meditation, breathwork sessions, group ice baths, saunas, recovery and mobility sessions, talks, workshops, and more. With increased camping options and enhanced facilities, participants will have ample time to explore all aspects of the festival.
New additions for 2027 include guided hikes, group sea dips, a beach BBQ, additional run clubs, social runs, fitness sessions, vendors, street food stalls, recovery experiences, wellness activities, family-friendly events, and more opportunities to meet new people. These enhancements ensure that there is something for everyone throughout the weekend.
The main festival arena will feature top headline acts, live bands, DJs, licensed bars, street food vendors, fitness brands, wellness activations, morning coffee raves, saunas, group ice baths, Pilates classes, run club meet-ups, recovery areas, community spaces, and evening entertainment.
