Hattiesburg Pickleball Classic

24 Outdoor Courts at the Lamar County Tennis and Pickleball Complex. Some play will be on temporary courts.  Selkirk Pro S1 ball.
All doubles brackets will be ROUND ROBIN. Some will have additional playoff bracket depending on registration.

Events will be: Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, an Offspring Open (family fun event on Friday night for any combination of immediate family to play together: Mother/Son, Father/Son, Sister/Brother, Sister/Sister, Brother/Brother etc.) Juniors Play, and a MONEY BALL.

Doubles brackets will be separated by age and then skill level. You may play DOWN in age and/or UP in skill at your discretion. Be sure to register for your preferred age/skill level and check your current Skill Rating on Pickleball Brackets & DUPR. If you do not know what skill level to register for, seek the advice of more experienced players or contact the Tournament Director.

Planned Age Divisions: 12+, 35+, 50+, 60+, 65+, 70+
Planned Skill Divisions:
2.5-2.99 (beginner/recreational)
3.0-3.49 (novice)
3.5-3.99 (intermediate)
4.0-4.49 (intermediate +)
4.5-5.00 (advanced)

Brackets generally would need to have a minimum of 5 teams or else they will be combined with similar skill levels. Some brackets may be combined due to number of registrations at the discretion of the TD.

5:00pm - 8:00pm - Open Play
5:00pm - 7:30pm - Offspring Open - Come cheer on your family and friends as they compete with family members against other offspring teams!

8:00pm-10:00ish - Juniors Play

Saturday, April 23rd
8:00am - 6:00pm - Men's & Women's Doubles

TBD (Saturday Evening) - MONEY BALL - a fierce competition under the lights with spectators, live commentary, and more.

$1000 (1st Place)
$400 (2nd Place)

Accepting the 12 highest level teams to compete for prize money in a pool play seeded double elimination tournament.  
Put your money where your mouth is and lay it all out on the courts. 
Highest DUPR rated teams will gain access to compete. Lower level teams will be bumped to wait list if higher rates team signs up.

Sunday, April 24th

This is an outdoor tournament in Mississippi, so please plan accordingly. In the case of inclement weather, every effort will be made to play the games on their scheduled days, however, adjustments may be necessary, and no refunds will be given once an event has begun.
