THE COURSE:
start and finish line- 201 Forrest Street in front of the Saenger Theatre
The Hattiesburg Half Marathon • 10k • 5k course highlights iconic local landmarks and engages Hattiesburg businesses. The 2027 course will once again wind through downtown, head toward the Avenues, and loop around the Hattiesburg Zoo. A portion of the route also tours The University of Southern Mississippi’s campus before runners blaze down the Longleaf Trace to the finish line.
Each local nonprofit benefiting from the race in 2027 will also “own” a mile by decorating it and cheering on runners as they pass through.
A charity runner is a registered race participant who chooses to fundraise on behalf of one of the non-profits participating in the Hattiesburg Half Marathon · 10K · 5K.
