About the Event

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Harriman State Park on August 14, 2027, with Eastern Idaho's premier trail running event. This scenic race offers distances ranging from a challenging 50K to a more accessible 10K and even a fun-filled 1k for kids along historic Railroad Ranch.
The course winds through lush forests and meadows, featuring gravel paths, two-tracks, and single-track trails covered in pine needles. Runners are treated to stunning views of the Teton Mountains as they navigate the park's diverse terrain. The well-marked route includes directional arrows and mileage signs, ensuring a clear path for all participants.
Aid stations are strategically placed along the course, offering standard trail fare such as water, sports drinks, cookies, chips, soda, candy, and pickles to keep runners fueled throughout their journey. Volunteers will be on hand at each station to assist with any needs, creating an encouraging atmosphere.
Post-race festivities take place at The Boy's House, where participants can relax overlooking the Henry’s Fork River while enjoying a complimentary lunch provided by organizers. Friends and family are welcome to join in the celebration, though they must bring their own tableware for waste reduction efforts.
With temperatures reaching into the high 80s during mid-August, hydration is crucial—especially on lap two of the 50K route. The race encourages runners to stay cool by utilizing nearby water sources like the Henry’s Fork River bridge area if needed.
Registration opens early in October with discounts available for those who sign up promptly. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore Eastern Idaho's natural beauty and challenge yourself amidst stunning vistas and friendly competition.
