Halloween Howl - Saskatoon

Step into the enchanting world of Saskatoon's Forestry Farm Park & Zoo for an unforgettable Halloween-themed run or walk on Saturday, October 24th. This family-friendly event invites participants to get creative with their costumes and join a day filled with fun and excitement.
Registration begins on Friday, August 21st at 9:00 AM, giving you plenty of time to plan your costume and gather the whole family for this magical experience. On event day, package pick-up will take place from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM, allowing ample time before the start of each activity.
The fun kicks off with a Kids Dash at 9:00 AM, where little ones can enjoy a short 250-meter run through the park. Candy stations along the route will keep them smiling as they cross the finish line to receive their WICKED medal and sweet treats.
Following closely behind is the Family 1KM event starting at 9:20 AM. This relaxed stroll or jog offers strollers and wagons access, making it perfect for families with younger children who want to enjoy the scenery together while still catching a glimpse of the excitement around them.
For those looking for a bit more challenge, there's also a 5KM fun run beginning at 9:15 AM. This scenic route winds through the park and zoo grounds, featuring four candy stations where participants can grab some sweet rewards along their journey before crossing the finish line to receive their WICKED medal.
Prizes will be awarded for best costumes in each category—Kids Dash, Family event (two prizes), and 5KM fun run. The creative spirit shines as runners showcase their Halloween-themed outfits, adding an extra layer of excitement to this already festive day.
After the race, participants can continue exploring the Saskatoon Zoo Society's beautiful Forestry Farm Park & Zoo, which opens its doors at 10:00 AM for all who wish to extend their adventure and enjoy the park’s natural beauty. Entry fees include a WICKED medal, race bib, and candy on the course.
