Set against the stunning backdrop of Queenstown, New Zealand, the Grid Hybrid x Maple Movement race offers runners an unforgettable experience on Saturday, November 28, 2026. Registration and athlete bag pick-up will take place at Industrial, located at 17 Repco Boulevard in Queenstown, from 1 PM to 6 PM on Friday, November 27th. On the day of the race, participants can expect staggered starts beginning at 8:30 AM with the final wave around noon. The scenic course winds through picturesque landscapes, providing runners with breathtaking views and a challenging yet rewarding terrain. Following the race, an awards ceremony will commence approximately half an hour after the last finisher crosses the line. All competitors receive a Grid Hybrid x Maple Movement patch upon completion of their run, while top performers in each category are awarded flags for first, second, and third place. Teams consist exclusively of two runners who must choose between female/female (FF) or male/male (MM) categories; mixed teams are not permitted. Registration closes on November 21st, with athlete information emails including wave start times to be distributed by the same date. Participants acknowledge a staggered wave start and agree to their assigned time slots during registration through Barefoot Sport's race management software.
