Great Easter Basket 5K & 10K NSRF 2027
About the event
Celebrate Easter Sunday with the Great Easter Basket Run at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, an annual springtime tradition that welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. On March 28, 2027, participants can choose between a scenic 5K or a more challenging 10K course through the park's lush landscapes and historic sites. The event offers pacers for both distances to help you set your pace, ranging from 20 minutes to 30 minutes for the 5K and 40 minutes to one hour five minutes for the 10K. Start early with a free Kiddie Run at 8:30 AM before the main event kicks off at 9 AM sharp. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, complete with cute swag items like bunny-themed t-shirts and medals, as well as treats from All Round Foods & Waterloo Sparkling Water. Don't miss this chance to make lasting memories in one of New York City's most iconic green spaces.
