Grafham Water Trail Races

Embark on an unforgettable trail running adventure at Grafham Water with the 2027 edition of the Marlow Park Trail Races. Set for October 10, this scenic race offers both a challenging half marathon and a more approachable 10k route through Cambridgeshire's picturesque countryside.
Starting and finishing at Marlow Park, runners will enjoy breathtaking views as they navigate trails that wind around Grafham Water. The 10k course provides an ideal introduction to trail running with its looped path, while the half marathon extends further into a lap of the reservoir, offering more varied terrain and stunning vistas.
Both routes are fully marked with clear signage and marshaled for safety. Participants will find water stations strategically placed along both courses—three for the half marathon and one for the 10k—to keep runners hydrated throughout their journey. The race takes place on footpaths across farmland, so participants must leave pets at home.
Registration opens early in the morning, with start times scheduled for 9:00 AM for the half marathon and 9:15 AM for the 10k. All finishers will receive a specially designed medal, while top male and female runners in each race will be awarded prizes.
The event is not just about crossing the finish line; it’s an opportunity to connect with nature and support local charities like the Jubilee Foodbank and Weston Favell Centre Foodbank through your entry fee. Free digital photos of participants are also available after the race, capturing memorable moments from this scenic run.
