The Fall Festival Fun Run returns each October to the picturesque streets of Fayetteville, Arkansas. As dawn breaks over Downtown Square, runners gather in festive costumes for this beloved community race. The historic square, adorned with local shops and lined by quaint architecture, transforms into a vibrant gathering spot just before sunrise.
Participants start their journey at the charming intersection of Main Street and Fayetteville Avenue, running through the heart of Fayetteville’s bustling downtown area. With its flat terrain and well-maintained sidewalks, the course is suitable for runners of all levels, offering both challenge and camaraderie as they navigate a series of festive turns.
Key highlights include a vibrant finish line with photo opportunities and vendor booths, along with two strategically placed water stations to ensure hydration. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which has grown into an integral part of Fayetteville’s fall festivities, attracting over 250 runners and families each October. Proceeds from this race support local scholarships for high school seniors.
The Fall Festival Fun Run begins at exactly 7:30 am on Saturday, October 31st. Children can participate immediately after their adult counterparts cross the finish line, ensuring a fun experience for all ages. Ideal weather conditions are forecasted with temperatures around 18°C and comfortable humidity levels paired with gentle breezes.

Bib numbers and race shirts are available for pick-up from October 17 to 20 between 9 am and 6 pm at Fayetteville City Hall. Participants must be at least 8 years old to join the main race.
