On October 31, 2026, Deja Vu Equestrian in George, Western Cape hosts an exhilarating team fitness challenge that blends running and strength training. Participants will tackle eight stations featuring exercises like DB snatches, burpee broad jumps, farmers carries, box step overs, tyre flips, DB lunges, plate drags, and wall balls. Teams of two or four run 7.2 kilometers in total, alternating between sprints on the grass field and intense strength workouts at each station.
For teams of two, both members share the running distance equally while dividing up the stations as they see fit. In a team of four, athletes rotate through the course, with one member completing each segment before tagging their teammate to continue. All categories compete under identical conditions, ensuring fair play for everyone involved.
The day kicks off with a 4 km Rave Run, a social warm-up event open to all ages and paces. This lively run sets the tone for the main challenge ahead, providing an inclusive atmosphere where runners of various abilities can come together before diving into the competitive fitness race.
Entry fees include access to both events, though participants may opt for just the Rave Run if they prefer a less strenuous experience. Spectators are welcome at no cost and will find food vendors on-site throughout the day.
