BASICS Global Surgery Sponsorloop, Rumst

On February 20, 2027, join runners and supporters in Runst for a meaningful race that aims to improve surgical care worldwide. The event is part of the BASICS initiative led by Global Surgery Amsterdam, focusing on enhancing medical services in underserved regions across Africa. With over five billion people lacking access to safe surgical care, this run raises funds directly towards training programs designed to strengthen local healthcare systems and provide sustainable support.
Participants will experience a supportive atmosphere as they navigate through Runst’s scenic routes while contributing to an essential cause. Every euro raised goes straight into training initiatives that empower medical professionals in areas where proper surgical facilities are scarce or non-existent, ensuring lasting improvements long after the event concludes.
Whether you run or donate, your contribution plays a crucial role in saving lives and advancing global health care standards.
