Immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscapes of Hemsedal on September 18, 2027, for Fýri Trail by Salomon. This trail running extravaganza offers runners an unparalleled experience through some of Scandinavia's most stunning mountain terrain.
The main event is the challenging Fyri Ultra, a grueling 56-kilometer course that traverses rugged trails with a staggering elevation gain of 2,670 meters. Participants will face steep climbs and technical descents along this scenic route, culminating in breathtaking views from atop the mountains. The Queen/King of the Hill segment is an additional 3 kilometers with an impressive climb of 550 meters, testing runners' strength and endurance at high altitudes.
For those looking for a more manageable challenge, the Fyri Trail offers two options: a full marathon distance of 29 kilometers featuring 1,300 meters of elevation gain or the slightly shorter but equally demanding 18-kilometer route with an ascent of just 600 meters. Both courses include the thrilling "Master of Disaster" segment—a high-speed descent over 4 kilometers and a dramatic drop of 600 meters.
The youth division, open to runners aged 14-20 (born between 2009 and 2013), features an 18-kilometer course with the same challenging terrain as its adult counterparts. This event not only pushes young athletes but also inspires them with a taste of what it means to conquer some of Norway's most beautiful trails.
