Free'Rose

Join the Free'Rose trail run on October 25, 2026, at Place des Arènes in Congénies. The event kicks off at 10:00 AM with two race options: a scenic 5 km and an invigorating 10 km route through the picturesque landscapes around Congénies.
Participants can choose between these distances to enjoy a run that suits their fitness level while contributing to a good cause. FreeRun, in collaboration with local associations and the town hall, is hosting this event for the first time. All proceeds from the entry fee of 10 euros will be donated directly to Les Roses du Gard, an organization dedicated to fighting cancer.
The race itself does not feature timed results or official rankings—instead, it emphasizes a spirit of community support and personal challenge. Runners are responsible for their own performance but can rely on clear trail markings throughout the course.
After crossing the finish line, runners will be greeted with refreshments at the post-race area where they'll find a lively atmosphere complete with a bar serving cold beer pressure, sweet and savory crepes, and light snacks to refuel. This event is not just about running; it's an opportunity for participants to come together in support of a noble cause while enjoying the beauty of Congénies.
Whether you're looking for a casual run or want to take on a new challenge, Free'Rose offers something meaningful for everyone involved.
