About the Event

The morning of August 20th promises to be a vibrant celebration at the annual Family Fun Race, starting sharp at 8:30 AM. Participants will enjoy a series of unique challenges designed for all ages, ensuring an engaging experience from start to finish.
For our youngest competitors under five years old, there's U5 Splash and Dash—a fun water-based event where children play in shallow waters up to their belly buttons without requiring any swimming skills.
As the day progresses, older kids will take on more thrilling challenges. The U7 category features a 50-meter swim around Killarney Lake followed by a 1.5-kilometer bike ride along the crusher dust trail. Afterward, they'll complete an exhilarating 200-meter run through lush grass and crushed gravel paths.
For those aged nine and up, the race intensifies with U9's 100-meter swim, a 3-kilometer bike journey on the same challenging yet scenic route around Killarney Lake, and a concluding 400 meters of running.
The final category for participants between twelve and fourteen years old presents an even greater test: a 300-meter swim across the lake, followed by navigating the 5-kilometer bike course along the same trail before finishing with a 1.6-kilometer run on varied surfaces.
All racers will cross the finish line well before noon, ensuring a day filled with excitement and fun for everyone involved. Ribbons and medals await all participants as a testament to their efforts and achievements throughout the event.
