Kicking PancreAS™ - New Brunswick returns to Fredericton, Canada on September 12, 2026. This inclusive five-kilometer run/walk is open to all levels and abilities—whether you choose to walk or run, set a personal goal and take it at your own pace.
On race morning, the atmosphere will be warm and welcoming as participants gather around Government House in Fredericton. The event offers a course that winds through the historic district of the city, starting from Government House before looping back with scenic views. The temperature is expected to hover around 16.7°C, with conditions feeling comfortable despite a slight breeze. Humidity levels will be high at 78.4%, making it feel slightly more humid than the actual air temperature.
The Kicking PancreAS™ tradition began in Fredericton and has grown significantly since its inception. In 2025, over 139 participants joined to raise just over $8,000.00 for pancreatic cancer awareness, patient support, healthcare education, and Canadian research. This year's event aims even higher with the goal of attracting 170 runners and raising a total of $10,000.00.
The course venue is firm but slightly soft, providing a challenging yet enjoyable run/walk experience for participants. The route includes notable features such as picturesque streets lined with historical buildings. The race will start at Government House on September 12th and finish back there after an approximately 90-minute duration. There are no aid stations planned along the course; however, runners can expect a firm but manageable surface underfoot.
