Join the ESCO 44 Saint-Nazaire for their prestigious 40th edition of this beloved race on October 18. The day is packed with exciting events, catering to runners and young athletes alike.
The morning kicks off at 9:30 AM with a 5km mixed event that serves as the qualifying round for the French Championships in 2027. This run also supports the "October Rose" initiative, promoting awareness and support for women's health issues. At 10:30 AM, participants can take on the more challenging 10km mixed race, which is another qualifier for the upcoming national championships. Both races feature pace setters to help runners achieve their best times.
In the afternoon, young athletes from local schools have a chance to shine with two special events designed specifically for them. At 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM respectively, boys and girls in CM1/CM2 (typically ages 8-9) will compete in separate races covering a distance of 1050 meters each. These races are organized through the École de la Carène schools.
Registration for these gallopades can be done either via their respective schools or on-site at the event itself, making it convenient and accessible for all participants to join this vibrant day of running in Saint-Nazaire.
