Flevo Fun Run

Welcome to the Flevo Fun Run on January 10, 2027! This family-friendly race series offers something for runners of all ages and abilities. The third installment of this year's four-part competition takes place in Zeewolde, a picturesque town known for its welcoming atmosphere.
Participants can choose from several distances: the Kidsrun (either 1 km or 2 km), designed specifically for young athletes aged up to 16 years; as well as longer options such as the 5 km and 10 km races open to runners starting at age 14. The event is known for its inclusive approach, ensuring there's a race suitable for every member of your family.
Registration fees vary depending on the distance: €6.00 for kids' events (including a medal) when registered in advance; and €7.50 for adults running either the 5 km or 10 km races without medals available upon registration, though these can be ordered separately as part of the overall competition package.
For those participating in all four Flevo Fun Runs throughout the season, there's an additional incentive: finishing at least three out of the four events qualifies you for a special competition medal awarded on the final day. This makes each race not just about personal achievement but also about building towards a bigger goal.
On race day, start numbers can be collected from 9:15 AM onwards at Brasserie ‘t Wolderwijd (Dasselaarweg 1, Zeewolde). The event starts promptly with the Kidsrun kicking off at 10:00 AM and followed by the adult races starting at 10:30 AM.
While enjoying your run through scenic routes around Zeewolde, remember that Brasserie ‘t Wolderwijd offers basic facilities like toilets where you can change if necessary. However, there are no showers available on site.
Parents or guardians should carefully consider what distance is suitable for their children before signing up and always keep an eye out for updates via the official TVZ website or Flevo Fun Run Facebook page to stay informed about any changes leading up to race day.
The Flevo Fun Run series promises a fun-filled morning of running, cheering on fellow racers, and celebrating personal achievements. Join us in Zeewolde as we bring together runners from across the region for another exciting edition!
