Flevo Fun Run

Join us for the Flevo Fun Run on December 13, 2026, part of the competitive series set to take place throughout late autumn and winter. If you've already registered for the entire competition season starting November 2026 through February 2027, there's no need to sign up again individually for each Flevo Fun Run; just bring your personal race number!
The event offers a variety of distances suited for all ages:
- A 1 km and 2 km run designed specifically for kids aged 10 months to 16 years.
- For older participants, there are both 5 km and 10 km options available starting from age 11.
Registration fees vary depending on the distance you choose. Kids participating in either of the shorter races can register beforehand at €6, which includes a medal upon completion. The longer distances cost €7.50 for pre-registration but do not come with medals as part of this individual registration fee.
A unique feature of the Flevo Fun Run is its competitive aspect: if you participate in three out of four events and complete them, your name will be entered into the competition standings. Upon reaching the final event on February 14th, 2027, those who qualify receive a special large competition medal.
On race day, participants can collect their numbers from Brasserie ‘t Wolderwijd (Dasselaarweg 1, Zeewolde) starting at 9:15 AM. The races begin promptly with the kids' events kicking off at 10:00 AM and followed by the adult distances at 10:30 AM.
Practical amenities such as toilets are available within Brasserie ‘t Wolderwijd, though there's no changing or showering facilities on site. Parents accompanying younger runners should consider their child’s readiness for running based on age-appropriate guidelines provided online through TVZ’s website and the Flevo Fun Run Facebook page.
Remember that once you register, refunds are not possible if circumstances change your participation status. If you finish a different distance than what was initially registered, please note this will be recorded as such but won’t affect eligibility for competition medals or standings.
For updates leading up to December 13th and beyond, keep an eye on the official Flevo Fun Run social media channels and website for any last-minute changes.
