F.I.T.mas Trail Race

About the Event

On December 12, 2026, runners of all ages and abilities converge at the heart of the park near the Senior Center for the festive F.I.T.mas Race. The race offers something for everyone with kid-friendly one-mile loops marked by yellow flags winding through smooth trails and crossing a single busy crosswalk, ensuring safety while enjoying the scenic front portion of the park.
For those seeking more challenge, 5K runners follow green arrows along slightly trickier terrain that includes rocky sections and winding paths. The most adventurous opt for the 5-mile course denoted by red flags, featuring multiple steep hills and technical trails. This route offers a mix of rugged landscapes and picturesque scenery, perfect for both seasoned trail runners and beginners looking to test their limits.
Participants can park conveniently near the Senior Center before heading towards the race start line at 8 AM. The rolling start format allows flexibility; you can begin anytime between 8 AM and noon as long as your run or multi-lap efforts conclude by midday. Be sure to pass through both the starting and finishing lines for accurate timing, recorded via Orbiter.
The event promises a warm community atmosphere with live results available at the race venue and posted online shortly after completion. While no medical professionals are on-site, basic first aid is provided in case of minor injuries or health concerns requiring further assistance from local EMS services if needed.
