About the event
The Fit Farmer 12K Trail Run returns to Norton’s Flag Rock Area Trails on May 22, 2027, marking its tenth year of celebrating health and community. Set against the backdrop of lush greenery and winding trails, this event offers runners a challenging yet rewarding course through scenic woodland paths. Participants will navigate varied terrain, from gentle climbs to flat stretches, all while enjoying views of nature at its finest.
Proceeds from the race support Norton Friends and Farmers Market’s Senior Supplement Program, which helps low-income senior citizens by matching their benefits for fresh produce purchases at local farmers markets. Registering early—by May 10, 2027—is recommended to secure a race shirt. For more details, visit www.fitfarmertrail.run or follow the event on Facebook at www.facebook.com/fitfarmertrailrun.
The atmosphere is electric with community spirit and dedication as runners come together for this annual tradition.
