Filey Lions 10K Beach Race

Since 2015, the annual Beach Run hosted by Filey Lions has drawn runners of all levels for an invigorating morning on the sands. The race begins near Filey Sailing Club where participants register and warm up before setting off along a meticulously marshalled beach course heading south. At the halfway mark, runners encounter a water station to hydrate as they admire sweeping views across the coastline. Turning back north towards the finish line, racers feel the energy build from spectators lining the shore. The race concludes under an iconic start/finish arch where cheers and applause greet each runner home. Funds raised benefit local charities and community groups through Filey Lions' initiatives. Join in for a memorable day of running by the sea on June 20, 2027.
