Februarimaran

Welcome to the February Marathon, taking place on Sunday, February 7th at 10:00 AM. The race starts and finishes near Kolbränningen/Byttorpssjön in Borås. Participants will run 22 laps plus a shortened initial lap of approximately 500 meters around mostly compacted gravel paths with minimal elevation changes.
Timing chips are provided for all runners, but must be returned at the finish line to avoid an additional fee of 200 SEK. Water and snacks are available near the start/finish area, and there is space for personal tables and club tents during the event. Changing facilities and showers open at 9:00 AM.
The race features nine age categories (M/K, M/K40, M/K50, M/K60) with awards to the top three finishers in each division. Entry fees are 200 SEK for general participants, reduced to 100 SEK for members of Borås Löparklubb who receive a discount code upon registration.
All runners completing the marathon will be awarded a finishing medal regardless of their time or placement within the race categories. The event is sanctioned by the Swedish Athletics Association and boasts impressive course records set in recent years: Therese Fredriksson (3:16:46) and Tobias Andervang (2:40:21).
