F2R Run Club

The F2R Run Club course spans the Manatee River Trail Park for its five-kilometer journey. The trail features both flat sections and gentle inclines, ensuring an engaging experience suitable for all skill levels. Distance markers are clearly visible along the way to help participants track their progress. Notable landmarks include the picturesque riverfront park benches where runners can take a moment to rest or catch up with fellow club members.
The run starts at 7:30 AM sharp, and finish lines are marked by the same scenic beauty that greets you on your arrival. Elevation changes are minimal but noticeable as the route gently ascends towards the park’s higher grounds before descending back down to the starting point. Along the course, there will be water stations strategically placed at intervals for hydration needs.
Expect a warm and humid July day with temperatures ranging from 24.7°C to 32.2°C, feeling like approximately 28.4°C due to high humidity levels of around 78.7%. Wind speeds average about 7.9 km/h but may vary throughout the morning.

The start location is at Manatee River Trail Park, located just off Manatee Avenue West near the bridge over the Manatee River. Age requirements are minimal—open to anyone who wants to join in on the fun. First-timers should plan to arrive early to ensure they have ample time to park and prepare for their run.
