EpicTrails 8km - Hunting out more trails

EpicTrails invites all trail runners to explore the enchanting local trails under the glow of headtorches, starting at Milngavie Train Station on October 22, 2026. This evening adventure will take you along the scenic Clyde Coastal Path and parts of the West Highland Way, offering a unique perspective of these well-known routes in the soft light of dusk.
The guided run is led by experienced individuals who are qualified, insured, and trained in first aid to ensure your safety throughout the journey. The pace varies according to the distance covered and type of terrain encountered, with regular regrouping points along the way so no one gets left behind.
This event is designed for social runners rather than competitive athletes; participants can expect a manageable group size that prioritizes everyone's comfort and security.
It’s important to note that dogs and individuals under 18 years old are not permitted due to insurance restrictions, ensuring all attendees meet the necessary safety criteria. Participants must bring trail shoes and a headtorch as part of their mandatory kit, with additional items specified in the run brief based on weather conditions and route specifics. No kit means no participation.
Proceeds from this event will first cover operational costs before any surplus is donated to a local charity at regular intervals throughout the year. Should you need to cancel your attendance, kindly inform us as soon as possible; refunds are only available with more than 24 hours' notice prior to the event date.
