EpicTrails 6km - Testing the trails by headtorch

EpicTrails invites runners to explore the scenic trails of Milngavie by headtorch, starting at 7pm from Milngavie Train Station. The route takes participants along the Clyde Coastal Path and sections of the West Highland Way, offering a unique perspective on local gems under moonlight.
The guided run is led by experienced leaders who are qualified, insured, and trained in first aid to ensure safety throughout the evening. This event emphasizes community and social interaction rather than competition; runners will regroup at various points along the route to make sure no one gets left behind. The pace varies according to distance covered and type of terrain.
For participation, trail shoes and a headtorch are mandatory items that must be brought by all attendees. Additional gear requirements may vary based on weather conditions and time of year but will be detailed in pre-run communications. Due to insurance regulations, the event does not allow dogs or participants under 18 years old.
Proceeds from the run cover operational costs with any surplus funds donated periodically to a local charity. Participants are encouraged to notify organizers if they cannot attend so that refunds can be issued as long as notice is given more than 24 hours in advance of the event date set for October 01, 2026.
