Endurance Trail de Bellefontaine 2026

On November 10, 2026, the Trail de Bellefontaine returns to Champigneulles with an exciting lineup of courses that cater to various endurance enthusiasts. The trail events include two fresh routes for runners tackling either a 14km or a more challenging 23km course (with a climb of 461 meters). For those who prefer a steady pace, there's also a timed march nordique covering the same distance.
The highlight this year is undoubtedly the Endurance Trail events. Participants can choose between two durations: an 8-hour challenge or a more manageable 4-hour option. Both involve running a consistent loop of 7.5km (160 meters elevation gain), with runners setting off on each hour's mark. The goal is to complete as many loops as possible within the given time frame, adhering strictly to finishing each lap in under an hour to be eligible for the next start.
The atmosphere at these events is electric, with a mix of competitive spirit and camaraderie among participants who strategize their pacing and recovery periods throughout. As the day progresses, runners weave through scenic landscapes around Champigneulles, testing both physical endurance and mental fortitude in equal measure.
For those looking to explore different terrains or distances, this versatile event offers something for everyone—from casual walkers to seasoned trail runners—ensuring a memorable racing experience set against the backdrop of Nancy and Strasbourg.
