Ecomarathon Yodogawa de Janvier

Embark on an unforgettable running adventure along the serene banks of Osaka's Yodo River during the Yodogawa Ecomarathon. Set to take place on January 10, 2027, this eco-conscious race offers a scenic course through one of Japan’s most vibrant prefectures. Participants can choose from three distances: a half marathon, a timed 10-kilometer run, or a family-friendly 5-kilometer parent-child event.
The flat and fast route follows the Yodo River bike path, providing runners with stunning views of the waterway while avoiding any strenuous elevation changes. With only 300 spots available, the race promises an intimate atmosphere where both novice and seasoned runners can enjoy a smooth start without overcrowded conditions.
Beyond the run itself, Osaka offers a wealth of cultural experiences for those looking to extend their stay. Explore Shin-Osaka Station Museum to learn about Japan’s extensive rail network or visit Kazaki Shrine to delve into Shinto traditions. For a taste of local life, try out traditional public baths like Sentō and Onsen.
Join us in January 2027 as we celebrate the spirit of running while supporting Second Harvest Japan, an international refugee support organization dedicated to ensuring food security for all.
