Dunham Massey Duathlon

Dive into an invigorating Sunday morning with the Dunham Massey Duathlon, tailored for athletes of all levels. This event offers two distinct options: Sprint and Super Sprint distances, ensuring there's something to challenge every runner.
The venue buzzes with a friendly atmosphere as participants gather at Bramley Farm Public House or nearby Waitrose car park, where free parking is available for the first two hours. Arrive 30-45 minutes before your wave start time—9:00 AM for Sprint and 10:00 AM for Super Sprint—to familiarize yourself with transition areas, warm up adequately, and address any queries you might have.
Transition zones are well-equipped to store bikes, running shoes, and essential nutrition. Participants should keep personal belongings in their cars as no additional storage is provided on-site.
The duathlon offers scenic routes through the picturesque Dunham Massey area, ideal for runners looking to explore new terrain or test their fitness levels against previous performances. Both distances share similar courses but differ slightly: Sprint athletes tackle 2 laps of a 22.22km cycling route and two running segments totaling 8.51km (4 laps at 5.83km followed by 2 laps at 2.68km), while Super Sprint competitors complete one lap each on the bike course (12.31km) and run courses (a total of 4.30km, including a shorter segment).
Spectators are welcome to cheer runners across the finish line from either Bramley Farm or nearby locations. The event concludes with opportunities for refreshments at local venues like the public house.
