Dream Team's Dreamland

Step into the whimsical world of DreamLand, where every step is infused with magic and wonder during the annual UF Dream Team 5K Fundraiser on February 20, 2027. This enchanting event invites runners to race through a fairy-tale landscape while raising funds for children in need at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital.
Participants can choose from three magical adventures: the timed Enchanted 5K, the leisurely Whimsical Walk covering 1.5 miles, or the Little Dreamers' Fun Run designed especially for young adventurers. Each path is lined with whimsy and charm, offering a unique experience that blends athleticism with imagination.
The day culminates in a fairytale costume contest where participants can showcase their creativity by dressing as beloved characters from stories old and new. Winners will receive magical prizes to celebrate the spirit of storytelling and community.
Beyond the race course, DreamLand transforms into an enchanted carnival complete with games, treats, live music, and family fun. This celebration continues long after crossing the finish line, ensuring that every moment is filled with joy and laughter.
Join us in making a difference for children facing challenging times by supporting initiatives aimed at bringing smiles and creativity to their lives through hospital activities and awareness campaigns. Whether you're racing or walking alongside your loved ones, each step contributes to brighter days ahead.
Registration opens on race morning at 8:00 AM with options tailored to all ages including free entry for kids under ten. Don't miss out on this magical opportunity to create lasting memories while supporting a noble cause.
Every contribution, big or small, helps turn ordinary moments into extraordinary ones in the lives of young patients and their families. So grab your sneakers and let your imagination take flight as you join us in DreamLand for an unforgettable day of fun, kindness, and community spirit.
